Our host hotel is the Wonderful Sacajawea Select Motor Inn, In Downtown Lewiston, Idaho.

We will be holding all the pageant activities in the hotel convention centers beautiful ballroom.

The theme for this banquet is “Princess Dreams” and you are encouraged to wear an outfit that reflects this them you can choose any decade or era of time to theme your outfit to. The Theme  Wear competition will also be conducted during this party!

There will be prizes, awards, contests, games, dancing, and more!!!!!

We encourage all contestants and family to attend this banquet, you are not required to attend as part of the competition unless they are competing in theme wear,  however we will be having a mini awards Ceremony at the banquet and would like to winners to be recognized on stage. 

There will also be other contests and games where you can win more prizes.

Brothers, dads, moms, and guests can win too!!!

Crowns, Banners, and Trophies will be awarded at banquet for certain titles and contests during the banquet.

Pageant Guests are also encouraged to attend They can win prizes too!

Tickets to the Banquet are $10.00 each.  One ticket is included for each contestant in their registration fee.  Family and friends must purchase a ticket if they wish to attend.  Please specify how many banquet tickets you need on your entry form.  The deadline for ticket requests is the same as the pageant Deadline.  All banquet tickets must be paid for by the pageant deadline.  You will receive your tickets at registration.

Events

Required Events

You must enter these events to qualify for your age division title, The person with the highest combined score in all required events will determine the age division Supreme Queen or King title

Beauty: You will model your formalwear to music on stage, Please take your time. You may cover the runway up to 3 times and you can do turns of your choice wherever you like. You will be judged on Presence, Poise, and overall appearance and appeal.

Wardrobe: Short or long formal or party dress of your choice. All Colors and styles are ok, please keep in mind the way a dress looks on you is more important than the cost – the judges do not know if you paid $10 or $1000. Please choose a color and style you feel comfortable in. Examples of dresses you could wear are: Prom gowns, brides maid dress, flower girl dresses first communion dresses, Formal Easter or Christmas dresses, glitz pageant dresses, non glitz pageant dresses, crowning dresses.

Hair and makeup: Hairstyles of contestants choice, makeup is ok for all ages, please keep it age appropriate for the younger ones we want them looking 5 not 25. False eyelashes and hair pieces are ok.

Spokesmodel: At the first "x" ages 7 and up will make a small speech about Yourself and ages 4-6 will be asked their name age and simple question about themselves off the emcee sheet. You will then Model a casual outfit on stage in a t-formation, Turns are ok at x’s and you can remove a jacket or other item if you wish. Absolutely no freestyle or Vogue modeling, young children will NOT be marked down for blowing kisses or waiving….kids are kids! You will be judged on Personality, Poise, composure, and overall appearance and appeal.

Wardrobe: Casual outfits such as a school outfit, cute fun outfits, trendy outfits, dresses, shorts, pants, skirts, jackets and hats are all ok. This is a Non-Glitz competition, no high glitz pageant outfits. If your shirt or pants have a few rhinestones, glitter, or sequins on it , it is ok as many "off the rack" clothing have this on them because it is trendy right now. Flowers and accessories are ok. Cute and simple is best.

Hair and makeup: Your hair and make up should be age appropriate and compliment you and your outfit, Natural make-up is preferred over glamour makeup for this competition.

Interview: Each contestant ages 4 and up will have a 3 min interview with the panel of judges, you will be asked questions directly of the information sheet you turn in….the interview will focus on the contestant not current events and trivia. You will be judged on Personality, confidence, Overall presentation and appeal. Ages 0-3 will go in front of the panel of judges with or without a parent so the judges have a chance to see the child’s personality individually and see the child close up, parents are encouraged to bring one of the child’s favorite books, toys or something they like to do so the judges get a chance to see them interact.

Wardrobe: Miss Majesty U.S.A T-Shirt and solid colored bottom. Shorts, skirts, skorts, pants, and capris are all ok. Jeans, kakis, slacks, etc. are all ok.

Hair and Make up: Very Natural and age appropriate, Little or no foundation, no fake eyelashes. No make-up is preferred on small children and babies.

Optional Events

You must enter at least 3 optionals to qualify for Grand Supreme and at least 5 optionals to qualify for Royal Supreme. If you enter more your highest 3 scores will count towards Grand Supreme and your highest 5 will count towards grand supreme.

Photogenic: Contestants can Submit the photo of their choice. Contestants will be judged on their photogenic appeal and appearance. Natural photos will be judged as such and so will glamour photos. Head and full body shots are both ok. Any size of photo can be entered however a 5x7 or 8x10 is preferred as the subject can be seen better. Photos do not need to be professional but should be clear good quality photos. Photogenic pictures will be turned in at registration.. There is no limit on the # of photos you can enter.

Portfolio: This a collection of 5-20 photos in an album or binder. They can be full length, head and shoulders, close-ups, black and white or color, or anything you like. A good variety is important, Photos do not need to be professional but should be clear good quality photos. They will be judged on overall photogenic appeal and appearance.

Supermodel: This Competition will follow directly after interview. A photographer will take 3-5 photos of you in front of a backdrop You may pose how you wish and/or the photographer may ask you to pose a certain way. Judging will be based on commercial photogenic appeal, and commercial fashion modeling ability. This is a closed competition one chaperone only per child allowed.

Freestyle Modeling: Contestant will model the outfit of choice on stage, you may model however you like straight-t, vogue modeling, turns, and routines are all acceptable. Time limit is 2 minutes. Judging will be based on modeling, creativity, appearance, personality, and overall appeal. You will be judged on how you do for what you do, whether you do a really good straight-t or runway routine or a really good vogue/glitz routine. You can model to your own music or the pageants, if you use your own music it must be the only thing on the tape and clearly marked with your name and the side it is on. If it is on CD it needs to be marked with your name and the track #…if your tape is not ready or marked properly you will be required to model to the music provided by the pageant. Music should be handed to the Emcee before you go on stage.

Wardrobe: Anything goes!!! Swimwear, western wear, patriotic wear, costumes, sportswear, whatever you like. Glitz is Ok!!!!

Hair and Make up: Whatever is appropriate for routine and outfit, natural and glamour are both ok. Fake eyelashes and hairpieces are ok.

Theme Model: Contestant will model the outfit of choice on stage, you may model however you like straight-t, vogue modeling, turns, and routines are all acceptable. Time limit is 2 minutes.   Judging will be based on modeling, creativity, appearance, personality, and overall appeal.  You will be judged on how you do for what you do, whether  you do a really good straight-t or runway routine or a really good vogue/glitz routine.   In this event you will be required to model to the music provided by the pageant.. it will be upbeat and easy to model to.  Props are ok. Be creative and show off your personality.

Wardrobe: This competition is to show off your theme wear for the theme of this years pageant which is “Princess Dreams” You may model any Sleep wear outfit you wish, Pajamas, slippers, nightgowns, curlers, bathrobes.. get creative!!  Please avoid any inappropriate sleepwear or intimate appearal. Glitz is Ok!!!!

Hair and Make up: Whatever is appropriate for routine and outfit, natural and glamour are both ok.  Fake eyelashes and hairpieces are ok.

Speech: This event is to show off your public speaking abilities. This is a great opportunity to get up in front of the judges and show them your personality as well as expressing your opinion on a topic you like. You will have 3 minutes to give a speech on the topic of your choice. It can be funny, serious, or anything your like.. you can give a speech on your gold fish if you wish!. Your are allowed to use note cards. This event will be judged on your public speaking abilities for your age, confidence, Creativity/effect, and the overall impression.

Wardrobe: You may wear the outfit of your choice for this competition. It can be classy, cute, or themed to your speech if you like.

Hair and Make Up: You may wear your hair and makeup anyway you like in this competition.

Talent: You can perform the talent of your choice on stage. No dangerous objects such as knives or fire will be allowed. You may sing, dance, act, etc. no piano is available so you will need to bring a keyboard if that is your talent. Time limit is 3-1/2 minutes. Tapes should be cued and ready to go labeled with your name and side of tape it is on, CD’s should be labeled with your name and track number. You will give your music to the emcee before going on stage. Costumes should be appropriate for talent. You will be judged on talent ability for your age, presence, and audience appeal.

Creative Presentation: This competition is meant for those of you who have a talent that may not be showcased as an on stage talent. This is where you can show us. Do you have a favorite after school activity such as a sport, club, or something else. Do you draw, take pictures, or make things. Are you a successful business woman or have a special accomplishment you have achieved, well let us know! You can submit this as a scrapbook, essay, or if it is something you can actually bring in, bring it. Please no live animals, if it is a 4-H project you can not bring in, bring your project book. If you do some sort of activity or sport you may video tape it, the tape should be no longer than 5 minutes. If you have any questions as to what you can enter for this just call and ask. This will be judged on creativity, contestants overall effort and achievement, and overall appeal. Creative presentation items will be turned in at registration.

 

Extra Events

The following events/competitions have no bearing on the winners of the pageant and are each a stand alone competition you may win these awards as well as any of the supreme titles.

Sparkle Awards:

Best Theme Wear: The Saturday night banquet theme is “Princess Dreams” (see wardrobe under the theme wear competition for examples”) and you are encouraged to wear an outfit  that represents this theme . You may enter the costume contest if you like but are not required you may still wear your costume even if you do not enter the contest. 

Best poster: Contestants are encouraged to make a poster(s) to display at the pageant. The poster could be a poster for yourself with your picture on it. A good luck poster for another contestant, a thank you poster for a sponsor or someone else. GET CREATIVE!!!! Posters will be returned after the pageant so you can keep them as a souvenir or give them to the person you made them for. The posters should be no larger than a standard size poster or foam core board and should have the contestants name and age on the back. Posters will be turned in at registration. You may enter as many posters as you like.

Best Contestant Gift: At many pageants contestants will bring small inexpensive favors to give out to the other contestants. If you would like to participate in this exchange you may, it is not required. If you do participate and have come up with something very creative you may enter the "Best Favor" competition. Some ideas would be handmade cards, decorated candy or suckers, a small craft, or whatever else you like. You do not have to enter this contest to give out gifts….you may still give out gifts please label who they are from as they will be turned in at registration and distributed to the contestants gift bags, We want everyone to know who gave them what.

Best Scrapbook page: If you would like you can create a scrapbook page to showcase yourself.. You can just include a bio/caption and pics of yourself, or you can document a talent or event you have done. You may also showcase yourself as royalty for another pageant or contestant in a pageant if you wish. Just remember be Creative! Scrapbook pages will be turned in at registration and should be no larger than 8.5"X11". Scrapbook pages will not be returned so make sure you make/use copies of any pictures you would like to keep.

Best Program Book Picture: Every contestant will have their picture displayed in our National Program Book. You may enter this competition if you would like to have your Program book photo judged however you are not required to enter. We may choose more than one winner for this event.

 

Rising Star: This is the contestant who refers the most names of prospective new contestants for the pageant. To enter this contest you must turn in a list of possible contestants, male or female the list needs to include: The persons name, their age, and their address, and if possible an email address. The list needs to be legible (preferably typed) if we can not read a name/address etc it will not count. These lists will be turned in at registration.

Miss Congeniality: This title will be voted on by the contestants. This is the contestant that all the other contestants believe shows the true qualities of the Miss Majesty U.S.A. Pageant. Voting will be during the banquet on Saturday night.

America’s Sweetheart: This is the contest ant who sells the most 50/50 tickets. Contestants may sell 50/50 tickets in their community before the actual pageant. When a contestant sells a ticket they should have the person put their name, phone number, and address on the ticket so that the pageant can notify the winner and send them their award. The tickets will sell for .50cents each, out of the total number of tickets sold the winner of the drawing will receive half of the total money made from the tickets…the other half will go to the pageant to help cover the cost of awards. Please have the person who buys the tickets keep the other half of the ticket stub for their reference. All tickets and money will be turned in at registration. If the winner is present they will receive their money immediately if not they

will be notified and it will be mailed to them. If you are interested in participating in this competition please contact the pageant to get your supply of tickets and additional information.

Star contestant: This in a non-judged competition. The star contestant will be chosen from all contestants based on their attitude, effort, supportiveness, personality, and all around emphasis on what a Miss Majesty U.S. A. pageant contestant should be like. You will be watched back stage, while walking around hotel, on stage, during breaks, during the banquet and whenever you can be publicly observed. You will not know who is watching you at these times. Pageant staff, The directors, and the judges will confer to determine the winner of this title.

Cover Girl Contest: This contest is an ad sales competition. The contestant that sells the most adds will Have the title of National Cover Girl and have their picture on the front page of the program book. Any contestant that sells at least one page will receive an award. Please see the "Cover Girl Contest" information sheet included in this packet for more information on how you can become the National Cover Girl.

Hostess: This is the contestant that refers the most other contestants to the pageant that enter. Please see the "hostess" information sheet included in this packet to see how you can become a national hostess.

Elegant Star:

This is the contestant that refers the most people who enter the Local Queen program. If you would like entry forms and information to hand out on this program please contact the pageant office.

2003 Miss Majesty USA

Cover Girl Contest

 

To enter the Miss majesty USA Cover Girl contest you are required to sell adds for the National Program Book.  These ads may be from family, friends, business, or even good luck or best wishes pages.

Any contestant that sells at least one ad page will receive the title of Miss Majesty U.S.A. Cover Girl Princess and the prizes earned below.  The contestant that sells the most ad pages will receive the title of Miss Majesty U.S.A. national cover girl, her picture on the front cover of the 2004 national program book and the prizes earned below.

 

The Cost of each ad page is $50.00  you may sell the ad pages for more if you like and keep the extra to go towards your entry fees, hotel, or other pageant expenses.  Example: you sell the ad pages for $75.00 each and turn in $50.00 to the pageant and keep $25.00 for your other pageant expenses.  You may also break up the pages and sell them as a half, quarter, or business card size as you may be able to sell smaller sizes better.  The only requirement is you turn in $50.00 for each page submitted to the pageant.

Each ad page is aprox 8-1/2”X11” and should be submitted camera read on a sheet of paper or submitted on a floppy disk, cd, or emailed in Microsoft word format.  If you or the person does not want to submit the ad in one of the above formats you may submit a rough draft /sketch or explanation of the general Idea and the pageant office will create the ad for you.  You are allowed to have one picture per an ad page.

2003 Miss Majesty USA

Hostess Competition

 

To enter the Miss Majesty USA Hostess competition all you have to do is refer contestants.  You can do this by putting up posters in you community to have them call you for entry forms and information or even go and pass out entry forms.  Any person who enters the national pageant on your referral will count towards your total referrals.

 To get credit for each referral who enters the pageant please put your name in the “referred by” space on the entry form.  You may also email or call the pageant with the names of people you referred to make sure you get credit for them.

 Any contestant that refers at least 3 other contestants will receive the title of Miss Majesty USA National Hostess and they prizes you earn below.  The Contestant that refers the most contestants will receive the title of Miss Majesty USA national Grand Supreme Hostess and the prize you earn below.

 For every Contestant you refer that has not competed in a Miss Majesty USA prelim you will receive $20.00 off your national pageant fees.  If you referred contestants to a prelim who also enter the national pageant you will receive half a credit for them, you will also receive $10.00 off your national fees!! 2003 Miss Majesty USA

Elegant Star Competition

Along with our live pageants and events the Miss Majesty USA pageant system also provides a mail in program. This program is referred to as our "Local Queen" program. The purpose of this program is to allow contestants who live in areas where we do not conduct pageants, who do not wish to compete in a live pageant, do not have the means to compete in a local pageant, or would just like to represent their area to have a chance to hold and represent a title.

To compete for the Miss Majesty USA Elegant Star award you are required to refer people to sign up for our local queen program. Anyone who signs up for our Local Queen Program will receive a Beautiful Rhinestone Crown, Embroidered Satin Banner, and chances to win and earn other awards and prizes. Local Queens are not required to enter the national pageant but may if they wish. The Contestant who Refers the Most People who sign up for the Local Queen program will Be our 2003 Elegant Star. Any contestant who refers at least 3 people who sign up will receive the awards listed below.

To Refer People Simply Request Local Queen application forms from the pageant office and pass them out or mail them to people. Make sure you place your name in the "Referred By" space on the application! You may also contact the pageant office and give them the names and addresses and the pageant will send them out on you behalf. If you wish you may have them sign up online at www.missmajestyusa.com Just make sure they put your name in the "Referred By" space so you will get credit. The deadline for referrals to count towards this title is October 8th, 2004.

Rising Star Award

This Title Will be presented to the contestant who turns in a list of the most prospective new contestants.

All you have to do to enter is obtain a list of names of people who are interested in entering the Miss Majesty USA pageant. You may obtain these names however you like…please do not copy names out of a phone book or directory as this serves as no purpose to the pageant…we will verify names on the list please do not falsify information or you may be disqualified.

Please include on the list the first and last name of the prospective contestant, age, address, phone number, and email address if possible. The information must be legible to qualify.

The Deadline for these lists is October 8th 2004.

Prizes

Turn in 50 names and receive a trophy

Turn in 100 names and receive a Larger trophy

Turn in 150 names and receive a trophy, Banner

Turn in 200 Names and receive a trophy, Banner, and Tiara.

The Contestant who Turns in the list with the most names will Receive The title of Miss Majesty USA National Rising Star!

 

Sweetheart Award

This Title will be presented to the Contestant who sells the most 50/50 tickets.

50/50 tickets sell for 50cents each. You may sell these to friends, family, coworkers, or who ever you like! At the Saturday night Banquet there will be a drawing to determine who the winning ticket is. The person who purchased the winning ticket will receive half of all the money collected on the tickets! Last year the winner received over $100! Lets try to make it more this year!

If you would like to sell 50/50 tickets please contact the pageant office for a supply of tickets. All tickets and money must be turned in by October 8th 2004.

Prizes

Sell 50 tickets and receive a trophy

Sell 100 Tickets and Receive a larger trophy

Sell 150 tickets and receive a Trophy and banner

Sell 200 Tickets and receive a Tiara, banner, and trophy.

Tip:

Ask a local store if you can set up a table or booth outside the store or in the lobby. You can sell 50/50 tickets and collect prospective contestant names! If you were are preliminary royalty or hold A Local Queen title wear you banner and crown !

 

2003 Miss Majesty USA

Majestic Supreme Queen

If you are participating in the Cover Girl, Hostess, Elegant Star, Rising Star, or Sweetheart contests you will automatically earn points towards this title. In order to qualify for this title and the prizes listed below you must accumulate points in at least 3 of the above competitions and Earn at least 500 points.  The contestant who earns the most combined points will Receive the title of Miss Majesty USA National Majestic Supreme Queen!

Any Contestant who accumulates 250 points will receive a special surprise gift and trophy!

Any Contestant who accumulates 500 points will receive a Crown, Banner, and Trophy

Any Contestant who accumulates 1500 points will receive and Embroidered satin Banner, Large Rhinestone crown, and a Large trophy!

Any contestant who accumulates 3000 points will receive a Spectacular Huge Rhinestone Crown, Embroidered Satin Banner, and a large trophy!

You will receive these awards in addition to the awards you receive for the individual competitions!

Point Values

Rising Star names = 1 point for every 5 names

50/50 tickets = 1 point for every ticket sold

Elegant Miss Referrals = 20 points each

Ad Pages = 35 points each

Referrals to pageant = 50 points each

The Winner will Receive a $$ CASH $$ Award Prorated by the number of points they earned.  The More points the More money they will receive!!

You are only required to pay the registration fee by the pageant deadline, your balance may be paid at the door or after the deadline.

Things to Remember

Ø        Door entries will not be accepted.

Ø        You may contact the pageant office to find out what the highest # of referrals or ad pages there are if you are competing in these competitions, we will however not tell you the contestants names.

Ø        Do not bother to ask “who” is in the pageant or your age division, we will not tell you.  We will tell you the # of contestants.

Ø        Your age Division is your age as of the pageant deadline.  You may move up a division if you wish.

Ø        Your balance must be paid in full before you will be able to compete- Sorry No Exceptions.

Ø        *The Miss Majesty Custom Logo Prize Package contains various items with the Miss Majesty Logo and/or Name.

Ø        **Sizes of crowns are aprox. We reserve the right to substitute a crown of equal or greater value if we are unable to award the stated sizes of crowns due to availability.
